Of course it had to come to this.

“At about 4 a.m. Friday, July 19, a group of 47 undocumented aggressive migrants attempted to illegally enter the United States in three waves via the Pharr International Bridge. Ignoring commands to stop, the group suddenly rushed the temporary barricades, bent metal poles and disabled the concertina wire affixed to the barrier,” CBP said. The migrants ignored commands to “stop,” bypassed blockade structures, and confronted immigration agents. Several male migrants reportedly assaulted officers, and even attempted to grab their “protective devices,” according to KGBT-TV. Immigration authorities deployed tear gas and pepper balls to stop the attack.

In all, authorities apprehended 16 individuals, two of which were charged with interference, KGBT reported. Mexican authorities apprehended the remaining migrants. Several CBP officers were injured in the attack, but are expected to be OK, the New York Post reported.

We can thank, in part, Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service. As a designated “host,” LIRS played a key role in publicizing, organizing and participating in demonstrations against President Trump’s deportation enforcement actions targeting some 2,000 illegal immigrants and their families who have ignored removal orders or skipped out on court hearings, including their most recent outing in Puget Sound area (I wish they were in the Sound ). Brazen hatred of cops, Border Patrol and ICE agents were on full display at the open borders protests fronted by LIRS and other left-wing groups, including Code Pink, CASA and CAIR. Marchers echoed the “Close the Concentration Camps” rhetoric of Congressional Brat Pack Rep. Alexandria Occasional Cortex.

They carried signs declaring “ICE=Gestapo” and “Free the People, Burn the Camps.” It’s not just idle rhetoric. Antifa thug Willem Van Spronsen, armed with a rifle and incendiary devices, attempted to set a Tacoma ICE facility on fire on Saturday before being shot dead. He has been hailed as a “hero” and a “martyr” by fellow “progressive” travelers, while sympathetic mainstream reporters and activists look the other way. The president and CEO of LIRS, Krishanti Vignarajah, is a Sri Lankan refugee and former Michelle Obama policy director who led the Lights for Liberty event in Washington, D.C. She argues that Americans are obligated to open the floodgates at the southern border and vehemently opposes what she calls “militant border enforcement”, which means any enforcement!

According to Michelle Malkin, “LIRS sounds like just the kind of extremist group you’d expect to be kept afloat by billionaire George Soros’ big bucks. But hold on to your wallets and your American flags, folks: In 2016, LIRS relied on $64.7 million in government subsidies from taxpayers — that’s you and me — to fund a whopping 96.2% of its budget. LIRS is one of nine agencies that receives tens of millions of dollars to resettle refugees from around the world. Disguised as compassion and Christian morality, Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service’s activism is a profit-seeking machine — even as the agency has been plagued by allegations of mismanagement that prompted an external probe two years ago. Last week, the group unveiled yet another initiative: ‘United Sanctuaries of America.’

“Bottom line: Open borders equals cash flow: more aliens, more grants, bigger Paychecks. Exit question: Will a single American elected official please stand up and challenge the continued public funding of this racket bent on hoisting foreign flags and alien interests above our own?” “But, isn’t this Christian charity?” one might ask?

Here’s a partial list of other organizations LIRS partners with to undermine our border sovereignty: League of United Latin American Citizens, New Sanctuary Coalition, Hispanic Heritage Foundation, Washington Office on Latin America, Mary’s Center and Hispanic Federation, Gethsemane Lutheran Church, Good Shepherd Lutheran, Church of the Reformation, Christ Lutheran, Christ the Servant Lutheran. Lest you be fooled by the names, and think this is biblical compassion, taking Christ’s admonitions about strangers, widows and orphans and applying them, or a bunch of Hispanic US citizens wanting more illegal migrants to come in, let me disabuse you of those mistaken notions: “And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’ Matthew 25:39-40.

This separation of the “sheep” and the “goats”, regarding the final judgment, is a continuation of Jesus’ parable of the talents and the slothful servant. He is referring to the “least of these my brothers,” that is, members of His church universal. Read the entire 25th chapter of Matthew rather than taking a sentence out of context. Jesus is not saying “condone breaking your laws.” Further, look at the behavior of those “compassionate” demonstrators. As far as the five Hispanic-sounding organizations above being representative of our Hispanic citizens, most of those citizens are opposed to open borders and want even stricter enforcement.

Like Michelle Malkin says, it about the money (and the votes). Compassion? Important for the real refugees, but recently the chief of DHS testified before Congress that some adult males are buying babies on there way north. One of the most egregious cases was that of a 51 year old male who bought a six month baby in Guatemala for $80, hoping to gain admittance to our country as an asylum seeking family by posing as a father with his baby. How compassionate is that? Would that man and others like him have done that if he knew there was no chance of gaming our system? He wasted his $80. DNA testing revealed that the baby was not related to him. DNA testing has become routine in our refugee vetting procedures. Whether or not the man Ilhan Omar married in 2009 was her biological brother, we’ll never know for sure. All we know for sure is that he’s Somali, and could not get into the United States (from the U.K.) is because the program that existed in 2008 to admit Somalis to the US if they were related to an American citizen (which she was at the time) was discontinued because around 87% of family ties claimed, ESPECIALLY among Somalis, were proven fraudulent by DNA testing.

“Unsullied by education”

One of my sports heroes when I started college in 1964 was the fullback of the Green Bay Packers who, along with Jim Brown of Cleveland defined the “bruising fullback” genre. No one wanted to call Taylor stupid, but a sportswriter of the time used to joke, “Jimmy went to college for four years and emerged unsullied by education.” I’m not saying that Perfectionist Progressive college grads of today are stupid, but that joke about Jim Taylor is certainly apropos to that bunch. I define education as “mastering the process of thinking outside of your own echo chambers.” The echo chambers are the mantras and buzzwords you repeat to yourself, and hear over and over among your circle of friends and news sources.

I have, in a previous post, deconstructed and analyzed “Trump’s ‘racist’ tweets”, but because so many people whom I thought of as educated have made so many uneducated and superficial remarks about them, I want to use those tweets as an example of the “echo chamber effect” unsullied by education. So interesting to see “Progressive” Democrat Congresswomen, who originally came from countries whose governments are a complete and total catastrophe, the worst, most corrupt and inept anywhere in the world (if they even have a functioning government at all), now loudly..….(tweet 2) and viciously telling the people of the United States, the greatest and most powerful Nation on earth, how our government is to be run. Why don’t they go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came. Then come back and show us how.….(tweet 3) it is done. These places need your help badly, you can’t leave fast enough. I’m sure that Nancy Pelosi would be very happy to quickly work out free travel arrangements!”

The underlined sentences were what got most people disconnected from reason, i.e. demented. While I believe that he really had one of them in mind specifically, let’s assume that he was referring to Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, Alexandra Occasional-Cortex AOC, and Ayanna Pressley. If so, let’s activate your cerebral cortex and analyze what they all have in common: female, Democrats, House of Representatives, Perfectionist Progressives, mostly negative about our country (yeah, the “our” included them), their “solutions” are worse than any problems, at odds with Nancy Pelosi and most of their own senior leadership, very low approval ratings in their own districts, hate White people and the “heteronormative patriarchy.” Wait, you left out color, they are women of color! Sorry folks, get out your paint chips and Lumen scale and you will find that AOC is whiter than most white folks, and Tlaib would never be mistaken, on the merits of her skin tone alone, as colored.

Among the descriptions of his tweets regurgitated by college students were “racist (natch), white supremacist, nationalist, bigoted, hateful” (where’s sexist, misogynistic, islamophobic?). Apart from the fact that only Omar is foreign born, the nationalist criticism is not only invalid, but I think being nationalist is a great thing if you’re a citizen of the country most coveted by potential immigrants in the world. Any wouldn’t you be nationalist? If you aren’t, why are you still hanging around? Now I’m not saying “America love it or leave it.” I am saying that mobility is a great feature of the modern world, and lots of important deep thinkers have declared that if Trump gets elected they would leave the country! Oh wait, that was before he got elected! Alec Baldwin, Amy Schumer, Samuel L. Jackson, Chelsea Handler, Bryan Cranston, Jon Stewart, Miley Cyrus, Cher and Al Sharpton–why are you deep thinkers still here??? Are your money making capabilities more important than your principles? Well, some were being a tad hyperbolic: Cher was going to Jupiter, Stewart said “another planet”, and Jackson was going to South Africa, really. Most of them said Canada but probably discovered that our northern neighbor didn’t want them, but just to be on the safe side, the more famous said “Vancouver”, a nonstop flight from Hollywood. Okay voters, this is your best reason to vote Trump 2020, to get these numbnuts out of here.

Anyway, I badly digressed, but these people give me indigression indigestion. Given my proof that two of the four are not colored, why would someone call his advice racist? Because that word is a dog whistle to all the dumb shits who are unsullied by education! For those who still retain a semblance of cerebral processing, the main thing President Trump and the majority of Americans dislike about these four, as well as their Perfectionist Progressive colleagues and supporters, is the stupidity of their policies and their reflex hatred of anything traditionally American. I present Ayanna Pressley at Netroots Nation conference: “I don’t want to bring a chair to an old table. This is the time to shake the table. This is the time to redefine that table. Because if you’re going to come to this table, all of you who have aspirations of running for office. If you’re not prepared to come to that table and represent that voice, don’t come, because we don’t need any more brown faces that don’t want to be a brown voice. We don’t need black faces that don’t want to be a black voice. We don’t need Muslims that don’t want to be a Muslim voice. We don’t need queers that don’t want to be a queer voice. If you’re worried about being marginalized and stereotyped, please don’t even show up because we need you to represent that voice.”

Can you say “identity politics?” This is more to the point than that useless canard “women of color.” This is diametrically opposed to Martin Luther King’s “I have a dream speech.” How about being the “voice” for Biblical principles of truth and justice, for being judged on your character rather than skin tone? Nah, that’s no fun. Rob Smith, a black male Republican, had this to say:

“Yet instead of taking the criticism and responding to it on its merits, the four members of ‘the squad’ complain loudly that they are unfairly being attacked because they are ‘women of color.’ And even though the four use extremely harsh and sometimes obscene language in attacking their opponents–including President Trump, other Republicans, moderate Democrats, corporations, Israel, law enforcement officers and others–the congresswomen appear to want to immunity from criticism because of their racial and ethnic heritage and gender. The four have even gone so far as to say criticism of them prompts death threats, as they seek to be placed in some sort of criticism-free zone that doesn’t exist in the real world. So what are we supposed to do? Never say a bad word about their bad ideas? Never nominate anyone to run against them for re-election?” Yeah Rob, that’s what they want.
